Memorizing the Quran is from the utmost of noble actions. To acquire the words of the Creator of the universe in your chest and to be a carrier of His words is an honor beyond our ability to understand and appreciate.
All Elevetion Hifdh Instructors are fluent in English and teach the Quran only with the original Arabic standard as was read at the time of the Prophet Muhammad
Memorize The Quran
Abdullah ibn Amr reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “It will be said to the companion of the Quran: Recite and ascend as you recited in the world! Verily, your rank is determined by the last verse you recite.”

Al-Qasim reported: Abu Umamah, may Allah be pleased with him, said, “Recite the Quran and do not be mistaken about these connected pages, for Allah will not punish a heart that preserves the Quran.”

Muhammad memorized the Holy Quran at a young age, which sparked his deep passion for Islamic studies. His journey led him to pursue advanced studies in Quran, Arabic, and Sharia at the esteemed Al-Azhar University in Egypt. There, he specialized in tajweed and recitation, earning an ijazah for teaching the Quran.
For the past two years, he has been dedicated to teaching and inspiring students in Quran, Arabic, and Islamic studies at The Muslim Academy and is the Head Instructor at Elevation Hifdh Academy.

Schedule
Hifdh Classes are conducted from Monday to Thursday for one hour each day. Students will find it easy to memorize the Quran with consistency every day. Within the one hour session, students will have their new lesson for that day, revise their previous lesson, and reinforce their old lesson. This method ensures that students do not forget and it helps them retain their memorized portions no matter how much they retain.
With our flexible schedules and teachers ready to work with you in your time zones (some limitations may apply), parents have access to hifdh instructors within their own homes.

Sr. Riffat Sheikh has been in the field of education for over 20 years. She is the founder and has been the director of The Muslim Academy for over 10 years, an academy that reaches students worldwide and currently houses three divisions - The Muslim Academy Online Education, Elevation Hifdh Academy, and Al Shajarah Forest School.
Her passion for outreach is evident in that she has founded and established many educational projects for children and adults within the academy as well as outside. With her unwavering commitment and leadership, she has been the guiding force that shaped The Muslim Academy into what it is today. Through her vision, The Muslim Academy, the parent academy of Elevation Hifdh Academy, was founded arguably as one of the first online Islamic academy for K-12 students. Sr. Riffat, pioneering the online education world established The Muslim Academy in 2013, has brought her vision to fruition by creating it to be a safe haven for students all around the world. Students can enjoy a safe environment, have greater accessibility to education, and can depend on the quality of educational standards of the academy.
Sr. Riffat, born and raised in the US, is a genetically verified descendant of our beloved Prophet Ibrahim and is from the family of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
